Pomona Voice | Julian Lucas
I’ve just come across something that made me laugh out loud and scratch my head at the same time while in disbelief. So I took a photo of a set of rules that would have been of significance not to mention highly stereotypical about 20 something years ago. The rules are posted on a glass wall type of divider, separating the sidewalk to a set of stairs that lead down into a new club in downtown Pomona.
JUST KNOW I HIGHLY DISLIKE CELL PHONE PHOTOS!!!
It’s just like when you hate to explain to your friends cousin who is getting out of prison for the first time in 25 years, that society has continued to progress while he was locked away. He looks at you with a half-smile and a half, what did I miss look on his face talking about going shopping for Karl Kani and or Cross Colours. Why in the world would a club who has at least 20 flat screens inside and a cool looking bar establishment overall, to have such a hideous sign? Why would someone not spend money on something other than a sheet of copy paper slid into a plastic protector sleeve with a bullclip to adhere to the glass wall? Why wouldn’t the club research the current trends before assuming he/she/they were still partying like if Florentine Gardens or Ladies Night at Peppers was still a thing?
Can someone please help this club find it’s way, it’s almost 2020 for crying outloud!!!
